Job summary
The account manager, reporting to the President, is responsible for representing the company to clients and providing them with solutions tailored to their needs
Responsibilities:
- Determine potential customers
- Develop business with partners
- Recommend targeted opportunities
- Develop a business development strategy
- Participate in the development of proposals and estimates
- Meet clients in the workplace or remotely
- Make presentations in virtual mode (Team, etc.)
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on business opportunities and client activities.
- Analyze every opportunity and/or strategic client and provide feedback
- Keep management informed about activities and trends, including customer or lead changes, technical developments, market dynamics and competitive strategies
- Develop and maintain leadership roles in the marketplace
- Produce quotes and enter them into the CRM
- Follow-up with customers
- Enter customer information in the CRM
- Take part in meetings
- Participate in local and/or national exhibitions
- Travel depending on customer
- All other related tasks
What we are looking for:
- More than 10 years of experience in a related field
- College degree
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English
- Microsoft Office suite
- CRM software knowledge
- Experience with tenders and bids an asset
