For more than twenty years, information and communication technologies have linked the vehicles and networks that ensure the mobility of people and goods. These solutions have been deployed to different degrees all over the world under the concepts of intelligent transport systems or more recently under the concepts of smart cities.
These transport systems participate in the improvement of our quality of life and thus contribute to reducing the impact on the environment. They cover such a wide range of products and services that most of major players have a difficult time identifying them. Technological integration in this area improves safety, fluidity, efficiency, communication to users and the sustainability of our infrastructures.
